Kirkton Road, Inverkeillor Development Site
Thorntons Property Service New Homes Team is delighted to offer to the market a development opportunity located within the Angus village of Inverkeilor.
The village is in a beautiful setting located within rural Angus close to the sea and the popular beach at Lunan Bay.
It is a short commuting distance from the City of Dundee and midway, approx. 6 miles, to the popular coastal towns of Arbroath and Montrose which offer a full range of services, secondary schools, supermarkets shops and main line railway stations. Local amenities within the village will hopefully include a shop/café/pub which is currently under construction and scheduled to open early 2021. The village has excellent transport links with a bus service running between Perth and Aberdeen. The location of the development site is in close proximity to Inverkeilor primary school, nursery and park which can be accessed without the need to cross any roads. There are many dog walking and horse riding tracks surrounding the village the nearby beach can be easily accessed on foot.
The site is 2.5 acres in size and located to the north east of the village, the present planning consent in principle is for 18 new homes subject to obtaining the relevant detailed planning consent. Planning conditions are available to view on the Angus Council website using the reference 18/00117/PPPL.
The original Steading(s) have been demolished, the site has been cleared apart from an area of backfill materials left on the site, currently enclosed by safety fencing, it is an open site and can be easily viewed from the roadside or accessed on foot.
Accompanied viewings can be arranged by contacting Thorntons New Home Team. Anyone visiting the site unaccompanied is requested to keep all private driveways clear and accessible to the resident of the neighbouring dwellings, and to be mindful of residents privacy.
