Steading, Easter Peathaugh
Easter Peathaugh steading was built in the 19th century and is all that remains of a larger building complex. It is situated in picturesque Glenisla on an elevated site close to and overlooking the river Isla. The area is popular for leisure activities, with the main access road forming part of the Cateran Trail, a sixty-four mile circular walking route through Perthshire and the Angus Glens in central Scotland.
The owners have planning approval to develop and extend the steading into a modern five bedroom dwelling which will incorporate as much of the existing building fabric as possible. The interior design planned will provide a contemporary living space.
