Springfield in Fife is a small village three miles to the south of Cupar, in the Howe of Fife, and within half an hour's drive of St Andrews. Springfield railway station is on the Edinburgh to Aberdeen Line, and there are regular bus services to Cupar.

With a population of around 1,000, the village has a shop, village hall, pub, church and a primary school - Springfield Primary. Pupils go on to Bell Baxter High School in nearby Cupar.
